Join us for a fun evening.  We get to hear from Chromalox on grease waste system failure, and then we'll move to the court - for pickleball, corn hole, and bocce ball.  Newbies and Pros are both welcome!

Come at 5pm to get your favorite bite/beverage, then we'll sit down for the presentation at 5:30pm.  Following this, there will be more bites and beverages and time on the court until 8pm.

Dress for comfort and there's plenty of parking!

Presentation summary:

Grease waste drainage systems are critical to the operation of commercial kitchens, yet they are highly susceptible to grease accumulation, reduced flow capacity, and recurring blockages when proper temperature control is not maintained. This presentation examines the common causes of grease waste system failures, including grease solidification, inadequate pipe slope, and insufficient maintenance practices, and reviews the costly operational and sanitation impacts that can result.

Attendees will learn about what solutions are available to maintain grease waste flow by keeping piping temperatures above grease solidification points. The session will explore applicable codes and standards, design considerations, system components, installation methods, and best practices for integrating these systems into both new and existing facilities. Real-world case studies will demonstrate successful applications and lessons learned.
