Regional Training Manager – Domestic Heating and Hot Water, Grundfos

With over three decades of hands-on experience in the HVACR industry, Steve Fernald brings deep technical expertise and a customer-first mindset to his role as Regional Training Manager for Domestic Heating and Hot Water at Grundfos. Steve's journey began in New Hampshire, where he spent 20 years as an HVAC installer and service technician, mastering the intricacies of residential and light commercial systems.

 His career path led him into technical support roles with leading manufacturers like Bosch and Rinnai, where he provided frontline assistance to contractors and service professionals. He then transitioned into inside sales and technical support with FW Webb, a prominent plumbing and HVAC distributor in the Northeast.

 A move westward brought new opportunities, and Steve took on the role of Regional Service Manager with Rinnai, covering the expansive Rocky Mountain region from his home base in Colorado. After a brief stint in Montana with an appliance manufacturer, Steve returned to his HVAC roots when he joined Grundfos.

 Now, at Grundfos, Steve channels his passion for training and deep field knowledge to support contractors and partners across the region. Known for his approachable style and solutions-oriented mindset, Steve thrives on helping others troubleshoot challenges and elevate their technical skills.
